Clinton County Fair Board
The Clinton County Fair Board owns and manages the fair grounds under the Clinton County Agricultural Society 501c3. The fair board is made up of twelve volunteer directors. President, Vice President, and Treasurer are elected from within the board, while the Secretary/Manager and Finance Manager serve as non-voting, salaried positions supporting day-to-day operations.
Board members are nominated by current directors and elected by majority vote, serving three-year terms with four positions renewed each year. Throughout the year, directors stay actively involved by attending monthly meetings, supporting fairgrounds improvements, preparing for the fair, assisting during fair week, and helping with fundraising efforts — all to ensure the continued success of the Clinton County Fair and its traditions.
For those looking to get involved and support the fair without serving as a director, Associate Membership offers a meaningful way to be part of the team. Associate Members play an important role in supporting the Clinton County Fair Board and its mission. Associate members serve one-year terms with the opportunity for renewal and are prefered for future board positions. While they do not hold voting power, they are a vital part of the team that helps bring the fair and fairgrounds to life.
